The Brent Mountain Trail is a scenic view hike along a 4.8 km trail to the summit of Brent Mountain and 360 degree views of the Okanagan Valley and the Coast and Monashee Mountain Ranges. The peak of Brent Mountain is 2203 meters (7228 feet).
The Brent Mountain Trail explores pristine alpine areas and should take 4-5 hours return trip. Hiking the trail to the summit could include opportunities to view a variety of different wildlife. You know you have reached the summit when you see the Forest Fire lookout tower.
How to Get to the Brent Mountain Trail:
To reach the trailhead to the Brent Mountain Trail take Green Mountain Road to Apex Mountain Road and continue for 4 kms then turn right on the Shatford logging road. Continue for 3.7 kms to the old 8 km road marker. Take a left and continue for 3.9 kms until you reach fork in road, veer left for 700 meters to trailhead. Hiking Brent Mountain Trail in BCeh!
